§ 11-1. Applicability.

A.
This Code of Ethics shall apply to all officers, employees and members of boards or commissions, whether elected or appointed, full- or part-time, paid or unpaid, of the Village.

B.
A copy of this chapter shall be distributed to every officer, employee and member of a board or commission within 30 days after the effective date of this section. Such persons shall execute a written acknowledgment that they have received, read and understand this chapter within 30 days of receipt.

C.
Each officer, employee or member of a board or commission thereafter elected or appointed shall be furnished a copy of this chapter and shall execute the written acknowledgment described above before entering upon the duties of said office, employment or membership.
