§ 11-2. Conflicts of interest.

  • In addition to any conflicts of interest prohibited by state law, no person to whom this code applies shall:
    A. 
    Be or become interested, directly or indirectly, in any manner whatsoever, except by operation of law, in any business or professional dealings with the village or any agency thereof.
    B. 
    Act as attorney, agent, broker, representative or employee in business or professional dealings with the village, or any agency thereof, for any person, firm or corporation, directly or indirectly, in any manner whatsoever.
    C. 
    Accept other employment or engage in any business transactions or make any investments, directly or indirectly, which create a conflict with his official duties.
